Poetry in Colour

Silver Sorrow

When first we met
Passions flared bright
Coloured us red

With knowledge grew
A joining of spirits
Coloured us purple

Through the years
Cracks appeared
Coloured us blue

Hatred took over
Denying us expression
Coloured us black

Now aware of all we lost
Sweet silver sorrow
Colours us Grey

This poem was written as part of the "Silver/Sorrow" Colours Projects I undertook. View the project in the Colours Gallery.
