About The Project
The set topic made me think instantly of a spring day, so I decided to draw flowers in spring. As spring is a time of beginnings I wanted to draw just a few flowers rather than a large display.
The flowers were drawn freehand and shaded with the airbrush and the smudge tool
For trees and foiliage I used the airbrush to try and create a stippled effect,
The sky and clouds were drawn with the paint brush then shaped with a combination of the smudge and push tools.
Finally I used a lighting effect, I played with the lighting settings untill I found something I liked. I decided to keep the piece both before and after I added the lighting effect for this project.
